Sephardic women adopted Bosnian cuisine and it has become a component of traditional Sephardic cuisine.
Sephardic cuisine is a treasure full of life, classic seasonal recipes and healthy foods. It is also a story about how Jewish cooks successfully carried local ingredients, techniques and traditions in their new homeland and preserved them in their cuisines.
We offer kosher Bosnian-Sephardic dinners and lunches, made by order, with traditional Sephardic music. For groups of up to 10 people the dinner is organized in a Jewish home, for larger groups we offer the dinner in the Ashkenazy synagogue of Sarajevo.
To be seated at a Sephardic table is to bare witness to centuries of a mesmerizingly rich cultural heritage overflowing with traditions and festivities, symbols and superstitions, stories generation around the ever -present Sephardic feast.
